Treat yourself to an afternoon of creative writing bliss, in the tranquil setting of Letton Hall.
All ages and stages of writing experience are welcome.

There will be writing prompts, ideas and tips to stimulate your own writing in a supportive
environment. We’ll be trying out different writing styles and exploring where our ideas can
take us, in Letton Hall’s beautiful, historic library. You’ll have the freedom to write what you
want and the option to get constructive feedback.

During the afternoon you’ll have the
opportunity to take a stroll and gain inspiration from the beautiful grounds of the Hall.

Meet your workshop Leader

Elaine Baker is a Norfolk-based poet, teacher and mentor. She is the author of poetry
chapbooks, Dancing in Babylon (2023), Winter with Eva (2020) (both V Press) and five-point-
palm (2021, The Red Ceilings Press). Her poetry has been widely published in journals,
webzines and anthologies. She has an MA in Writing Poetry and has taught creative writing in many places, including the National Centre for Writing (Norwich), The Poetry School (London) and for Writing East Midlands. She worked as a Patron of Writing in schools, for 4 years, leading writing workshops and mentoring young writers.
