Spring Break at Letton Hall 2026

Monday 27th April – Thursday 30th April 2026

New Beginnings with Luke

Overview :

This spring, as we witness God’s gift of new life around us, we will explore themes of expectation, preparation, and new beginnings through the writings of Luke, seeking how God is calling us to respond.

Main Speaker : Patrick Boyns

Patrick has been teaching the Scriptures with the British Bible School for some 35 years and has served as its principal since 2001. He regularly teaches, both online and in the classroom, throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.

Born in London, at 19 he moved to Scotland where he was born again. Patrick has served with several congregations in the UK, and loves to teach and preach.

Interests include fell-walking, media production and antiquities. Patrick has been involved in an archaeological dig at Tel Beth-Shemesh in Israel.

We will be welcoming Pete Killingley as our guest speaker on Tuesday afternoon.
He will be talking on A Christian’s response to Artificial Intelligence

How should Christians respond to the rise of Artificial Intelligence? Can AI ever understand what it means to be human? In this session, we explore AI through a Christian lens, examining its promises, perils, and limits, and how Christians can have a distinctive approach to this new technology.

Guest Speaker : Pete Killingley

Pete Killingley is Head of Church Engagement for CARE. He helps Christians and churches engage with politics with truth and grace, and think through the big ethical issues being debated in our public square with clarity and compassion.

He has previously worked in criminal law, and was as an FIEC church pastor for 8 years, and lives in Woking with his wife Sophie, and their two teenage children.

Pete is the author of ‘A Christian Guide to AI’, coming out with The Good Book Company in October 2026.

As well as the teaching sessions there will be plenty of time to relax, catch up with friends or make new ones.

We are planning a trip to Wymondham Abbey which is just 20 mins away from Letton Hall, on Wednesday afternoon. There should also be time to take a look around the town.
